Background
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people had changed their lifestyle, spending, and saving habits. Forty-nine percent of Americans saw the pandemic as a major threat to their personal finances, because they had lost a job, taken a pay cut, or even encountered both situations. With more time and chances to reflect on their personal finances, people started to experience greater financial concerns and worse mental health.

WHAT is the Problem/Challenge?
Redesign the current Scattering Resources website to make it more user friendly in-terms of layout, design, and navigation as well as integrate efficency between staff, volunteers, donors, and participants into a centralized nonprofit website. Improving the user experience for the donors, volunteers, and partners.

The overall goal is to convert website visitors to donors and inspire people to support Scattering Resources

Develop a new landing page using giving/donation page which will fully integrate into a Donor system.

Develop a training page for the financial and career workshops.
How do I go about designing a solution?
Our design process is based on a storytelling approach that takes the user on a journey from the problem to the solution. It consists of four main stages: research, ideation, prototyping, and testing. In the research phase, we gather information about the user, their needs, and pain points. This information then guides our ideation process, where we brainstorm and generate ideas. We then create prototypes to test and refine our concepts before conducting user testing to validate our ideas.
